In our business we’re used to taking the long view. A commercial forest like this one can take over 50 years to come to maturity from time of first planting – and it’s entirely dependent on nature delivering the goods. We take the same long-term view when it comes to growing our business: constantly investing in plant and people to become ever more efficient. It’s an approach which has made us one of the most efficient sawmills in the UK, and it’s how we plan to continue.
