The Long Mynd Batch Burner is a 48 kilometre mountain bike challenge which has become a mainstay of the mounting biking calendar. The event is designed to test the mettle of any mountain biker – and to raise money for Norbury Primary School, a tiny rural school located behind the Mynd. This year’s Batch Burner will take place on Saturday 9th June and Ransfords is happy to be one of the sponsors of the event this year.
Entries go live on Sunday January 28th 2018 at 7:30pm. The event is a mass start challenge event, so there’s no racing, it’s all about having fun and raising funds. Places are limited to 400 riders to minimise the impact on the natural trails and avoid single track bottle necks. Your entry fee will include the usual race support and on arrival back at base live music and a barbeque plus a Batch Burner goodie bag. There will be a bar and plenty of cake too.
