I am writing to say how delighted we are with our
Ransfords woodfibre surface on our new arena. This is
the fourth arena we have constructed and having used other
wood products also sand/pvc on previous occasions we can
honestly say that your product is the best we have used
and is very competitive on price. Ransfords woodfibre
gives an excellent ride and the more it rains the better
it gets. We have also been very impressed with the excellent
service your company has given.

ago. This packs down much quicker and is superb

Our Ransfords riding surface was laid in 1998.
The arena is used by my daughter and myself to ride
on but we have not needed to top up since installation
5 years ago. The durability of our Ransfords surface
is beyond reproach and it is still riding well.
We have broken in 6 horses on the surface and found
it encourages engagement and concentration without
tiring the horses for a lengthy time. It is also
so much better to look at than any other surface

The school is great. I'm convinced I made the right
choice. Incidentally, I've noticed that when I'm leading
Franco on the surface it is really easy on my feet let
along the horses. I've walked on sand schools which feel
like a real effort but this is wonderful and he seems
to walk more willingly.

I now have three riding surfaces using Ransfords bark
free woodfibre. We use two of the surfaces for dressage
and show jumping and there has not been a day all Winter,
however frozen underfoot it was, when the surfaces were
unusable. They have been used 365 days of the year - brilliant.

Our Ransfords surface is fantastic and we are very
pleased with how it looks and rides. Every time it rains
the surface gets better and better as it expands slightly,
making it more bouncy yet still remains firm to allow
the horses to work without slipping.

It's up and running! All the youngsters settled into
their work on our Ransfords surface so very well, including
quite a fizzy little mare who takes some while to settle,
always wanting to go one gear faster but she was brilliant,
working well from the outset, most pleasing. Did some jumping
at the weekend and it was great. Even sat on a hardly backed
youngster yesterday - I am much braver on a 40m x 20m arena
instead of an open 10 acres, not surprisingly!

The above are all written by arena owners. Our surface
is outstanding but we also believe that customer care
is vital and every single one of our customers is treated
the same, whether they are one of the top racing trainers
in the World (and we deal with them all) or someone who
is completely baffled by the arena surfacing jungle. Everyone
is treated with exactly the same care and attention with
all questions answered in detail by very experienced,
friendly staff with themselves a minimum of 10 years individual
experience in Ransfords woodfibre surfacing.
We
daily receive thank you letters from happy and satisfied
customers, which is what it is all about, and as we said
this page is geared more for the uninitiated to woodfibre
surfacing rather than all the experienced 'woodfibre worldly'
racing trainers we supply.
