Christmas in Bishop’s Castle

We were very pleased to donate a tree to the volunteers in our home town who have worked to create the right atmosphere for Christmas this year. Like the timber we mill, all of which is British Grown,  the tree is relatively local and came from our holding at Taylors Wood near Presteigne in Powys around 20 miles from us . The tree stands in front of the 18th Century Town Hall near the top of the hill in the Town and, as you can see, the event to switch on the lights was well attended.

We’ll be closing for Christmas at lunchtime on Wednesday 21st December and coming back to full operation on Thursday January 5th 2017.  We send our best wishes to all for a very happy Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
